November 22, 2020:<\/strong> Since I’ve just spent all that time updating the site, I thought I might as well carry on adding new stuff to it. Here’s the cult classic Barnes & Barnes music video, “Fish Heads.”<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n

November 20, 2020<\/strong>: Well, here’s the thing. I watched Tombstone<\/a> <\/em>the other night, and it had been so long since I’d seen it, I didn’t even remember Bill was in it. But, oh man, I used to love that movie! Was curious to see what I’d written about it in the ol’ movie guide, only to find that I hadn’t actually done a review of it! That’s too bad, I thought, and then, well, there’s nothing stopping me from doing a review of it now. So, here you go, first new review in almost twenty years. Soon as I finish re-designing the website. Again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

February 21, 2011:<\/strong> Hello! The Bill Paxton Movie Guide is back in business! Well, sort of. I took it down a long time ago, and haven’t touched it in nearly nine years. For now, I’ve just shoved it back up exactly as it was when I last updated it in 2002. Which means some of the links are broken (it no longer has its own domain, and the email address I was using back then no longer exists, for example) and I know the list of Bill’s movies and TV shows is woefully out of date. But the first thing I’m going to work on is updating the prehistoric code, so we’ll get to that stuff later. Meanwhile, if you should happen to stumble across this site and wonder what wayback machine it fell out of, well, now you know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I could say something sensible about wanting to review the older, more obscure movies first, since they’re the ones people are less likely to have seen, and have the most curiosity about. Or, I could say that I’m trying to review a wide spectrum of movies from across Bill’s career. But the truth is, it’s more or less random. I just review whichever movie I happen to think of something interesting to say about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
