This was the beautiful view from the window of my fabulous room in the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel. Doesn&#8217;t it look just like a picture postcard?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"375\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ratandfox.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/h02.jpg\" alt=\"Fireworks\" class=\"wp-image-385\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ratandfox.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/h02.jpg 375w, https:\/\/www.ratandfox.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/h02-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 375px) 100vw, 375px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I got up at around 2:30 am to meet the rest of my group and catch the bus to the starting line. The race began at 5:00 am with fireworks. I placed 15,589th out of 19,217 total finishers.
