no haiku today
my brain is too tired to think
in five, seven, five
Short version: sinus congestion, ear infection, large doses of antibiotic.
The sinuses finally got the better of me, I am home sick today, napping on the couch and reading and surfing the Net. Fortunately, I have a very good book: Monstrum, by Donald James, to read. And if I finish that, I’ve got Thief of Always waiting, and assorted manga. I’ve also got the movie of Incredible Journey to watch, last week’s SGA ep on my iPod, and also lots of DVDs.
And here’s Mom with my lunch, so I will stop for now, and possibly edit later.
EDIT: This post looked too empty without a picture, so here’s yet another photo of my cat, Spot, sleeping all curled up in a bundle.
